A quieter month between races, but plenty to chew on: Bob lays out the build to Badger 100 — Ice Age 50K, a 5K with Sass, and the Wonderland Trail bucket-list daydream — while Sass figures out whether her back will let her line up at all. Then they hatch an extremely unserious psychological-warfare plan to beat a Coloradan named Gio at Badger, complete with hiding behind trees and shouting about his mother.

Hyner Recap (or: Bob Wore Two Watches)
Bob and KJ reconvene to recap the Hyner 50K — Paul left it all out there at 6:06, Elliot had a solid day, KJ ran his fastest Hyner ever despite a deeply unwise dive bar pizza the night before, and Bob rolled his ankle at mile 4, kicked the other foot into a rock, ran out of water, and DNF’d at mile 16. Allegedly while wearing two watches. The cake table at the finish line is real, and SOB Hill earned its name.
